I approach my art with complete freedom and only worry about pleasing myself. I'm happy when somebody enjoys my work. It doesn't hurt me if they don't like it, so how can it boost my ego if they love it? Translating my passion to a surface is pure therapy for the soul. I believe we are all creative and don't have to paint or write or have some tangible evidence. I believe in re-creating life every day. Some days I make a mess out of mine so I'm grateful for a new day to start over - which is the origin of so many of my paintings - art imitating life!
